Children of all abilities are accepted into BBE, wherever possible, and we strive to ensure needed supports are in place upon enrolment or at the time the needs of the child change during their time at BBE. The physical environment is set up to consider accessibility and the unique needs of all children. Experiences and routines are adapted so all children can participate actively and meaningfully. A supportive approach is used that builds on each child’s strengths and ensures individual needs are met. We believe in daily communication and value input from parents or guardians. Parents or guardians are encouraged to be part of the decision-making process for their child. Collaboration between the centre, families and other professionals ensure positive outcomes for the children. Staff will receive required training by appropriate professionals as needed. We are committed to learning more about each child’s needs and inclusion.
