Hi there and welcome to the Starry Safari room where we believe that every child has the ability to become something great and we encourage your child(ren) to grow and shine with us. 
We are a warm, enthusiastic, fun and energetic room where we encourage children to be respectful, compassionate and cooperative. 
As Early Childhood Educators we have a passion for watching children gain an understanding of creativity, imagination and sense of self growth which they learn through play.
Through their experiences here with the other children and us they will master their unique skills and abilities. 
We welcome you all to come and visit us anytime! 

Zoo Crew

Preschool Program

Here in the Zoo Crew we love to have fun and to be creative.  Some of our goals for the children in our care are:
 
Gaining self confidence and communicating well with their peers
Learning to express one self confidently
Respect for others
Empathy towards others
Developing friendships with peers
Learning to share and work together in groups
 
We believe singing and literacy are important to learning. .
 
We also sign out new books from the library bi-weekly to keep reading time fresh and new.  We don’t just read the books but pay attention to details in the story not mentioned to enhance learning time.  We also have magnetic stories available for children to tell their own stories.
 
Exploring art and being creative is also a big part of our day. So you will find a lot of art projects coming home or displayed on our bulletin board.
 
Our goal is for  children to be respectful of their peers and teachers and be confident young children.
 
We look forward to building an open relationship with you and your children.

Discovery Cove

Discovery Cove is a room full of fun and caring,    that meets the needs of your child physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually.

Children are encouraged to manipulate, create and problem solve during play based experiences.  Throughout the day, we engage in play/activities that promote learning in all developmental areas.

​Some things that make our room so special are the personal touches that each of us add  - we celebrate each person as an individual.   We create a strong, respectful and warm connection with each child and value their uniqueness.
 
You will often find us  listening to music and dancing or making strong connections with the environment and learning hands on such as  planting flowers.
