Kindergarten spaces are outlined as follows: Families will be notified by the Executive Director as soon as Phoenix School has informed the daycare of the kindergarden plan each year. At that time, parents will be notified if they are granted an allocated kinder space at Phoenix School. You will be contacted when a space is available as per our enrolment policy. Kindergarten Children Attending Phoenix School Receiving Care at Monterey Site
BBE will work with families to deliver child care at the Monterey or Heartland site if space allows for children attending the Phoenix School Kindergarten program who ARE NOT registered to attend the BBE School Age site. The family will be responsible for making transportation arrangements for the child to travel between BBE and the school. BBE will only be able to provide care at the Monterey site for kinders during their kindergarten year, which ends June 30, last day of school. If this arrangement is made for the Kindergarten year your child is not guaranteed a space at BBE’s School Age site. However a space will be offered as space allows at the School Age site when your child transitions over to Grade 1. |
Kindergarten Children Attending Phoenix School
Children attending the Phoenix School Kindergarten program who are registered to attend at the BBE School Age site are guaranteed to receive care during the hours of 6:45 a, – 5:45 pm. Kindergarten full day rates apply. School rates apply on July 1 of the year that kindergarten is completed. |
Kindergarten Children Attending Other Schools
BBE will work with families to deliver child care at the Monterey or Heartland site if space allows for children who ARE NOT attending the Phoenix School Kindergarten program.
The family will be responsible for making transportation arrangements for the child to travel between BBE and the school.
If this arrangement is made for the Kindergarten year your child will not be provided a space at the t BBE’s School Age site as per our agreement with the St. James School Divsion and care will terminate on June 30 at the end of the school year.
Children who are attending Pheonix School will transition over to the school site in early July and all Kinder children remaining in the preschool sites will be moved together in one or two rooms at either site, so that they are able to spend time with peers and for transportation logistics. This may mean that your child may move to be with the kinder group. You will be notified if this change will take place.
